Greetings Race Fans,
Going For A Run In The Parx?
On Tuesday, March 22 Bissinger will screw on his best running shoes and challenge six other colts and geldings in Race #6 at Parx Racing in Philadelphia. Bissinger moves up in class to this Allowance Race for three year old Pennsylvania breds, going one mile on dirt, for a $42,000 purse. Our dark chocolate challenger received a little more love from the experts and is not tabbed the longest shot in the field. Biss drew the #2 post and is listed as an (8/1) morning line choice. #4Infinite Fiesta is the (9/5) favorite followed by #6 D T Goodie (5/2) and #5 Key Cheyne at ((9/2). Talented apprentice Lane Luzzi gets the mount for trainer Tim Ice. Post time is 2:10 pm (CST). The key to the race will be to get Biss in a comfortable stalking position where Lane can weave him toward the outside for a strong stretch run. We feel Bissinger can hold his own with this caliber of horses but it will certainly not be a “walk in the Parx“!
Oooh Baby Baby:
“It’s pretty hard to be in a bad mood around a four day old baby.” The attached photos are of Hallie Ruth’s new foal by Kentucky sire, Northern Afleet. New mama and her sweet Afleet are resting at Niknar Farm in Paris, Ky. The pair will return to Saddleback Stables later this month where they will be accepting visitors and scheduling appointments.
Wager Well!
Mike
